Description: An immaculate example of a very beautifully carved horseshoe pintray, with a large trademark mouse with finely carved details. This carved horseshoe pintray is not produced commercially today. Similar examples are often available where a metal horseshoe has been pinned to the base, however, this is a much better example as it is carved out of a single piece of english oak. It is in excellent condition, and has a good patina with the characteristic rich chestnut 'aged' colour of dark fumed and waxed oak. Dimensions 12cm x 12cm x 4cm.
